Supported files
A successful conversion maps only the first audio stream and writes an audio-only WAV. WAV may be much larger than compressed MKV audio.
How it works
Choose a non-empty .mkv file up to 100 MB with readable audio.
The sequential server queue maps the first audio stream and encodes signed-16-bit PCM WAV.
Use the completed WAV audio control where supported, then download the separately named result.
Audio extraction boundaries
The fixed profile excludes video, maps the first audio stream only, removes source metadata and chapters, and offers no audio-setting controls.
Extract WAV from MKVAn MKV must be non-empty, 100 MB or less, readable by host FFmpeg, and contain a first audio stream. Video-only sources fail.
Video is excluded and the first audio stream is newly encoded as signed 16-bit PCM WAV, not copied.
Metadata and chapters are removed; alternate audio tracks, subtitles, attachments, and video are not retained.
There are no trim, channel, sample-rate, bitrate, codec, or quality controls. WAV size can be much larger and compatibility is not guaranteed.
