The server samples the first video stream at 10 fps and makes a new animated GIF. It is an image animation, not a video remux.
How it works
Choose a non-empty .webm file up to 100 MB that FFmpeg can read and that contains video.
The sequential queue samples the first video stream at 10 fps and scales it to a maximum 480px width.
Check the animated image result, then download the separately named GIF.
Fixed GIF settings
Audio, metadata, and chapters are removed. The GIF loops continuously at 10 fps and will not be upscaled beyond its source width.
Convert WEBM to GIFThe profile maps only the first video stream and disables audio, so WEBM soundtracks do not transfer.
GIF output uses 10 fps and scales to at most 480px wide while retaining aspect ratio; smaller sources are not upscaled.
Each generated GIF is configured to loop continuously. There are no trim, frame-rate, resize, palette, or quality controls.
Metadata and chapters are removed. Subtitles, attachments, alternate streams, and original codecs do not carry over.
